Our partner is a fast-growing company specializing in cutting-edge optical metrology solutions for the semiconductor industry, based on innovative WaveFront Phase Imaging (WFPI) technology. Their tools enable semiconductor manufacturers and process equipment suppliers to perform wafer warpage measurements and enhance process control in increasingly demanding metrology environments (e.g., 3D NAND, advanced packaging, 3D heterogeneous integration, etc.).
They’re now looking for a talented Product Manager to join their team in Madrid and help drive the next generation of metrology tools from concept to customer.
Job Summary:
As Product Manager, you will report to the VP of Product Management and serve as the key interface between Product Management and our R&D, Product Development, and Business Development teams. You will ensure that our products meet market needs and deliver exceptional value to our customers. You will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle from ideation through to launch and customer adoption, supporting the VP of Product.
Management in defining the strategy, roadmap, and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a portfolio of internal product development projects from concept to production, ensuring alignment with global expectations and achievement of internal milestones.
- Monitor project progress on a daily basis, reporting any delays or issues to the VP of Product Management, and proposing appropriate mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with other Product Managers to identify potential synergies and dependencies between products, aiming to optimize development processes and reduce costs.
- Support the VP of Product Management in defining and managing the product roadmap in alignment with company strategy and customer needs.
- Gather and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscape.
- Translate customer and market requirements into clear technical specifications for the R&D and Product Development teams, as well as external partners when necessary.
- Work closely with R&D, Product Development teams, and external partners to prioritize features, plan releases, and manage trade-offs.
- Coordinate with Business development, Sales, Marketing, and Application teams to ensure successful product launches and consistent messaging.
- Support product demos, pre-sales activities, and customer discussions to align expectations and gather valuable insights.
- Monitor product performance, usage, and customer satisfaction post-launch, and recommend improvements in collaboration with the Field Service and Application teams.
- Promote and support continuous improvement through cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, Optics, Electronics, Industrial Systems, Automation, or a related field.
- Experience in developing semiconductor process or metrology tools is a strong asset.
- 3+ years of experience in project or product management in semiconductor.
- Solid understanding of systems engineering and high-tech product development cycles, from concept to deployment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with agile or iterative product development methodologies.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in cleanroom environment is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required. French and/or dutch is a plus.
- Place of residence: Madrid.
- High availability for international travel.
